Battery Voltage 12.5 While Driving
Battery Voltage 12.5 While Driving. I have a usb that displays the voltage. In really hot weather it might run as low as 13.6.

13.7 volts will be when your alternator is busy recharging the battery. All connections are tight and clean, any thoughts? After starting the car multiple times without driving it or allowing it to run for more than 30 seconds or so, i've seen the gauge show 12.5.
The Bcm Will Exit This Mode And Enter Charge Mode When Any.
With the car running the voltage should be in the 13.5 to 14.5 volts plus or minus a few tenths. 13.7 volts will be when your alternator is busy recharging the battery. (honda reman) when the engine is off, the battery has 12.8 volts.
So Unless Your Are Driving In Really Cold Weather, 15 Volts Would Be On The High Side.
I drove the car25 miles out to a car show and it charged normally after starting for a few minutes then tapered the voltage to 12.5, then 12.4 for about10 miles. On startup 14.5 to 14.8 is probably normal. We’ll see, on average i change a battery once every 3 years or so (after the warranty expires!).
Went To 12.5, And 12.6 Then Stayed There.
And most fully charged batteries should read around 12.5 to 12.8 volts. If it dips much lower, (especially under 12 volts) then you have a problem, with either the battery not holding a. As long as the computer says the battery is adequately charged, it'll keep the voltage as low as possible.
You Should Get The Same (Or Very Close) Reading At The Large Post On The Rear Of The Alternator, Then Start It Up.
If i don't jump the car when it dies and let it sit over night, the car will start good as normal. I've always considered if the battery is at 12 volts or above with the car not running, it's ok. Open circuit voltage of the battery and can be between 12.5 and 13.1 volts.
All Connections Are Tight And Clean, Any Thoughts?
I confirmed with a multimeter and advance tested as well. It would be right on 14 for a while while driving too. I hoped a long drive today might help program the battery control module.
